Image Generation Tools
Create images from prompts, reuse generated prompts, regenerate from history, and use image tools such as Generate Similar and Upscale.
Create Images from Text#
- Select the destination folder.
- Open the Generate tab and choose Submit.
- Enter a prompt, choose a model and aspect ratio, then click Generate Image.
- When generation completes, the new image appears in the selected folder.
Generate Metadata for Created Images#
Generated images follow the same metadata workflow as imported images. Select the generated files, run Batch Metadata, then run Batch Categories once keywords are present. You can export Adobe Stock CSV files or upload through the Adobe Stock FTP action after the items are ready.
Generate Prompts#
Open Generate > Generate Prompts, enter a subject, and click Generate Prompts. Review the generated prompt suggestions, save the prompts you want, then use the saved prompt Generate action to create images from them.
Generation History#
Open Tools > History or use the command palette item Open History, then choose the Image Gen section. Each history item shows the prompt, model, aspect ratio, status, and file name when available. Use Regenerate to create another image from a previous prompt.
Generate Similar#
Select one image, open the command palette, and choose Generate Similar. This creates a similar image from the active image when the selected image has an AI-ready preview.
Upscale Images#
Open the command palette and choose Upscale Selected for selected images, or Upscale Current Folder for eligible images in the active folder.
Availability#
If a generation command is unavailable, check the selected image count, image type, preview readiness, and current app settings.
