Using Metadata Templates

Quickly apply frequently used titles, descriptions, keywords, and categories.

Creating a Template from an Existing File#

1. Select an image with metadata you want to reuse.
2. Open the command palette and choose Save Metadata Template.
3. Enter a descriptive name, such as Nature Photography.
4. Click Save Template.

Applying a Template#

1. Select the image(s) you wish to update.
2. Open the command palette and choose Apply Metadata Template.
3. Choose the desired template from your saved list.
4. Metadata fields update immediately.

Managing Templates#

Access the Metadata Templates window via:

• Command Palette: Metadata Templates
• Toolbar: Metadata Templates
• Tools Menu: Metadata Templates

In the window you can:

• Create New Template: Fill in Title, Description, Keywords, Categories
• Edit & Delete: Manage existing templates
• Duplicate: Create variations of existing templates
