Clearing Metadata

Remove metadata from your files when you need to start fresh.

Batch Clearing Metadata#

1. Select Media: Highlight the files you want to update.
2. Choose Method:
   • Action Bar: Click Clear metadata
   • Command Palette: Choose Clear Metadata
   • Context Menu: Navigate to the Clear submenu
3. Choose the clear action you need.

Clearing Individual Fields#

For a single image:

1. Select the Image: Load it into the main preview.
2. In the Metadata panel, use Clear title, Clear description, or Clear all keywords.
3. Save Changes: Click Save Metadata or use the save shortcut if autosave is not enabled.
