MetaPhotoAI began as a small side project about a year ago. I built it for myself, out of necessity. As a passionate stock photographer, I was spending countless hours doing the part of the process I enjoyed the least: writing titles, descriptions, and keywords for every single image. It was tedious, it slowed down my workflow, and frankly, it drained the joy out of creating.

I kept thinking, there has to be a better way.

After trying the existing tools on the market, I realized none of them truly solved the problem. They were either too limited, too slow, too expensive, or simply didn't understand what stock photographers actually needed. So I decided to build my own solution, one that I would be proud to use every day.

What started as a personal shortcut quickly grew into something much bigger. Today, MetaPhotoAI fills a real gap for thousands of stock photographers around the world. Our mission hasn't changed: to make the metadata process faster, smarter, and far less painful, so photographers can get back to doing what they love.

Because we actively use MetaPhotoAI in our own workflows, our team approaches building it with a level of care and pride that's personal. Every improvement, every update, and every new feature comes from the same place: the belief that great tools should make the creative process easier, not harder.
