Selecting Images
Select one image, many images, or a full folder before running metadata, export, upload, and workflow actions.
Single and Multiple Selection#
Click an image in the filmstrip to select it.
To select multiple images, use Shift+Click for a range or Cmd/Ctrl+Click for individual images.
Select All Images#
Use Select All Images from the command palette, or press the select-all shortcut while the app is focused. This selects every image in the current folder.
Visible Range Selection#
The command palette can select visible filmstrip ranges. Open the command palette and type a range command such as select 1-3 when you want to select images by their visible positions.
Tip
Range commands are useful for screen readers and automation because they avoid drag gestures.
Folder vs Selected Scope#
Some menus, such as Upload and Workflow, let you choose whether an action applies to the Folder or to the Selected images. Use Selected when you have intentionally selected specific images. Use Folder when the entire active folder is the intended scope.
