Importing Photos

Several convenient ways to import your images into MetaPhotoAI.

Using the "Add Folder" Button#

1. Locate Add Folder in the Folders panel header.

2. A system folder picker opens.

3. Select the folder containing the images you want to process and click Open.

4. The folder appears in the sidebar and images load into the filmstrip.

Using the Command Palette#

1. Press Cmd/Ctrl+K.

2. Type Add Folder.

3. Choose the Add Folder command.

4. Select the folder in the system picker.

Drag and Drop#

1. Open your computer's file explorer (Finder on macOS or File Explorer on Windows).

2. Select a folder or individual image files.

3. Drag and drop them directly onto the main MetaPhotoAI workspace.

4. The application will automatically import the files and organize them under the respective folder names in the sidebar.
