Metadata Writing

Control how and when metadata is saved to your physical files.

Configuring Auto-Write#

1. Click Settings (gear icon) in the top right.
2. Select the "Metadata Write" tab.
3. Locate "Auto-write to files" toggle:
   • ON: Metadata embedded immediately upon generation
   • OFF: Metadata stored in app until manually written

Manually Writing Metadata (EXIF)#

1. Select Media: Highlight the files to update.
2. Access Tools: Click More options in the action bar.
3. Write EXIF: Select Write EXIF.
4. Choose Scope:
   • For Selected Images
   • For All in Folder

You can also open the command palette and choose Write Metadata to Files.

Monitoring Write Progress#

Open the Queue tab in the right panel to monitor file-writing progress. Status notifications also confirm completion.
