Your Library/Filtering Media

Filtering Media

Quickly isolate images or videos based on their metadata status, color tags, or other attributes.

Accessing Filters#

To open the filter menu, click the "Filter" button located in the action bar at the bottom of the workspace.

Filter Categories#

You can filter your library using various criteria:

Metadata Fields:

  • Has Title / No Title
  • Has Description / No Description
  • Has Keywords / No Keywords
  • Has Categories / No Categories
  • Has Helper Text / No Helper Text

Color Tags: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, or Purple

Rating: Unrated or 1 through 5 stars

Status:

  • Has Any Metadata / Has No Metadata
  • Has Warnings
  • Has Been Uploaded
  • Has Editorial Status
  • Is Upscaled
  • Has Additional Details

Combining Filters#

MetaPhotoAI allows you to apply multiple filters simultaneously:

  1. Select "Has Categories" to see all categorized images.
  2. Select "No Title" from the same menu.
  3. The filmstrip will now only display images that have been categorized but still need a title.

To return to your full folder view, click "Clear All Filters" at the bottom of the filter list.

Tip

If no files meet all selected criteria, the filmstrip shows an inline "No matches" empty state with a "Clear Filters" button.
