Locating Files and Folders
MetaPhotoAI makes it easy to jump from the application directly to your computer's file system (Finder on macOS or File Explorer on Windows). This is helpful for managing files, moving them to other applications, or simply verifying their location on your hard drive.
Opening an Entire Folder#
If you want to view all the files within a specific folder in your system's file explorer:
Locate the folder
Find the folder in the left sidebar (Directory Browser).
Access context menu
Right-click on the folder name or click the ellipsis icon (three dots) that appears when you hover over it.
Open in system
Select "Open in Finder" (macOS) or "Open in Explorer" (Windows) from the context menu.
View contents
A new window will open on your computer showing the contents of that folder.
Locating a Specific Image or Video#
If you are working on a specific file and want to find its exact location in your file system:
Find the file
Locate the image or video in the bottom filmstrip.
Right-click
Right-click on the thumbnail of the file.
