Favoriting Folders
As your media library grows, you may find yourself working with dozens or even hundreds of folders. MetaPhotoAI's "Favorites" feature allows you to bookmark the folders you use most frequently for quick and easy access.
How to Favorite a Folder#
Navigate to All Folders
In the left sidebar, navigate to the "All Folders" view.
Hover over folder
Hover your mouse over the name of the folder you want to bookmark.
Click the star
A small star icon will appear to the right of the folder name. Click it.
Confirm favorite
The star will turn solid/yellow, indicating the folder is now in your favorites.
Viewing Your Favorite Folders#
Find the filter icons
At the top of the folder panel, you'll see two icons: a folder list icon and a star icon.
Click the star icon
Click the star icon to filter your sidebar to only show favorited folders.
Quick navigation
This makes it much easier to jump between specific projects without searching through your entire directory.
Tip
Use favorites to create a "working set" of folders for your current project. This keeps your sidebar clean and focused.
Removing a Folder from Favorites#
If you no longer need quick access to a folder, you can remove it from your favorites list:
From the Favorites View#
Click the star icon next to the folder name. It will disappear from the list.
From the All Folders View#
Click the solid star icon next to the folder name to "un-star" it.
