Toggling Panels

MetaPhotoAI provides a flexible workspace where you can hide or show various panels to maximize your viewing area or focus on specific tasks. You can manage these panels using keyboard shortcuts or navigation bar icons.

Directory Browser (Left Panel)#

The Directory Browser displays your folder structure and allows you to switch between different sets of media.

Toggle Shortcut#

Mac:+B|Win:Ctrl+B

Icon#

Click the left panel icon (rectangle with a left side bar) in the top navigation bar to hide or show this panel.

Metadata Panel (Right Panel)#

The Metadata panel is where you view and edit details like titles, descriptions, and AI-generated tags.

Toggle Shortcut#

Mac:⌥ion+B|Win:Alt+B

Icon#

Click the right panel icon (rectangle with a right side bar) in the top navigation bar to toggle this panel.

Film Strip (Bottom Panel)#

The Film Strip allows you to quickly navigate through the images and videos in your current folder.

Icon#

Click the bottom panel icon (rectangle with a bottom bar) in the top navigation bar to hide or show the bottom carousel.

Resetting Your Workspace#

If you have hidden multiple panels and want to restore your full workspace:

  1. Use the respective shortcuts mentioned above to bring each panel back
  2. Click the corresponding icons in the top navigation bar
