Open context menu
Right-click anywhere in the main preview area (ensure you are not clicking directly on the image itself).
Navigate to Background Color
Navigate to the "Background Color" option in the context menu.
Select color
Select your preferred color from the list.
Available Background Colors#
| Color | Use Case |
|---|---|
| White | Evaluating images for light backgrounds |
| Light Gray | Neutral evaluation |
| Gray | General purpose |
| Medium Gray | Balanced viewing |
| Dark Gray (Default) | Reduced eye strain |
| Black | Maximum contrast, OLED-friendly |
Managing Displayed File Information#
You can choose which metadata details appear above the image in the preview window for quick reference:
Open context menu
Right-click in the preview area.
Toggle options
Under the "Show in Preview" section of the menu, toggle the following options on or off.
Display Options#

| Date & Time | Shows the capture date and timestamp |
| Camera info | Displays technical details like the camera model, lens, ISO, and aperture |
