Customizing Preview Workspace

Change the background color and displayed file information.

Changing Background Color and Preview Information#

1. Open the command palette with Cmd/Ctrl+K.
2. Type Preview Background and choose a color command:
   • White, Light Gray, Gray, Medium Gray, Dark Gray, or Black
3. Type Preview Info or Show in Preview and choose the item to show or hide:
   • Filename: Full file name
   • Date & Time: Capture timestamp
   • Camera info: Model, lens, ISO, aperture
   • Location: City, state, country

You can also right-click the empty preview area to use the preview context menu.
